DRINKS

Merlot

Merlot has fruity and slightly earthy notes that will complement the creamy and tangy notes of the cheese. Red wine is the best option with this salty cheese and the Merlot is big enough to stand up to the strong flavours of the cheese without overtaking.

Pouilly-Fumé

This cheese has strong tangy and salty notes, so some acidity is needed to help refresh the palate. The mineral qualities help bring the full flavour potential of the cheese out.

PORT & DESSERT WINE

If in doubt recommend a glass of port or dessert wine.

Both of these are good all-rounders for a cheese board with different cheeses.
