DRINKS

Gevrey-Chambertin

Pinot Noir is best here as the fruity and earthy flavours of the wine complement the creamy and nutty characteristics of the cheese. The light body doesn’t overpower the flavour of the cheese.

Pouilly-Fumé

This Sauvignon Blanc complements the rich and creamy flavours of the cheese. The crisp acidity of the wine balances out the creaminess and enhances the nutty, tangy flavours.

PORT & DESSERT WINE

If in doubt recommend a glass of port or dessert wine.

Both of these are good all-rounders for a cheese board with different cheeses.
