About the dish

This classic dish is made with a chargrilled chicken breast and served with a rich mushroom sauce. Accompanied by a fresh herb salad consisting of pickled shallots, chervil, and parsley. Served with a generous portion of golden, crispy frites.

1 pinch Salt & pepper, 10m Veg oil

1 ptn Frites (120g Frozen Frites)

1 pinch Salt

75ml Mushroom sauce

3g Pickled shallots

1g Fresh Chervil

1g Fresh Parsley

This wine is just perfect for creamy dishes and have you seen that sauce? Chardonnays go exceptionally well with chicken (especially when char-grilled) and will compliment the earthy mushroom flavours.


Elderflower & Apricot Soda

The subtle sweetness you get from the elderflower flavours in this drink work really well with the chicken and earthy sauce. It won’t overpower anything, but will certainly bring it all together.

SIDES

This dish will benefit from one of our gorgeous tomato salads, some Tenderstem Broccoli will work really well with the steak also.
