A bright ruby red wine that has lots of aromas of mixed fruit and heavy cassis. Lots of grapes create a very complex flavour but one that works and is well respected. The weather changes very quickly after summer in this area of Bordeaux which has an impact on the wine in each vintage. Cabernet tends not to ripen as quickly after summer which therefore leads to higher percentage Merlot grape in the wine (as it ripens much quicker).
