Description

Pouilly-Fumé is a vibrant expression of Loire Valley terroir. With a pale straw color, it offers aromas of citrus, green apple, and hints of flinty minerality. On the palate, crisp acidity balances flavours of grapefruit, lime, and subtle herbal notes, leading to a refreshing, lingering finish.

The "Fumé" in the name refers to the smoky character often associated with the wines, derived from the region's unique terroir, which includes flinty soils.

Food Recommendation

This wine, although a Sauvignon Blanc, only has a slight acidity and subtle creamy notes, making it a great match with Fish, Poultry, Salads and also Cheese (especially ones from the Loire Valley).

Dishes that go particularly well:

  • Salad Maison

  • Crab Maison
