Description

This wine is slightly sweeter than our other Sauvignon Blancs due to the fruitier notes in the wine. This is the result of a longer ripening season thanks to the cooling breezes coming in from the Atlantic Ocean. Aromas of citrus, cut grass and gooseberry are predominant here, giving a fresh taste to the wine, along with a hint of tropical fruits.

The region of Côte Du Gascogne is in-between Bordeaux and Langeudoc very close to Toulouse.

Food Recommendation

This wine, has a subtle sweetness along with all the characteristics of a Sauvignon Blanc, it matches very well with chicken and pork, along with herbaceous flavours such as tarragon. Salads with a vinaigrette work well with the acidity in the wine.

Dishes that go particularly well:

  • Salad Maison

  • Crab Maison

  • Confit Pork Belly
